A Lifelong Passion for Art and Expression
Born in Portugal, Pedro Valeira has been surrounded by art since childhood. His journey began in 2004 when he studied stone carving, developing a strong sense of form, light, and texture. These skills later became the foundation of his photography.
In 2013, Pedro’s fascination with the visual arts led him to photography. He learned from some of Portugal’s top professionals and invested in high-end equipment to master his craft. After gaining experience in business and sports photography, as well as portrait sessions both indoors and outdoors, he moved to Edinburgh in 2016.
Although life took him in other directions for a while, Pedro never stopped creating. His artistic eye continued to evolve, and today, photography once again takes center stage, not just as a passion but as a profession.
Every photo Pedro captures reflects his artistic background and emotional sensitivity. He sees light, shape, and feeling the way a sculptor sees form, creating images that tell stories with depth and beauty.
